Kris Lemche used to be credited as Kristopher Lemche, before he shortened his first name. Borne 1978 in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, he planned to become a doctor one day, but then in his last year of school auditioned for a small role in a Disney movie, got the job and after this an agent as well.
His mother is a schoolteacher and his father runs a heating business. He is the oldest of their three children and his brother Matthew is an actor as well.
He won a Gemini award (Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Supporting Role in a Dramatic Series) for his role on the 1998 TV series "Emily of New Moon", episode 1x07: Falling Angels.
